St. Jerome Book Club We are reading “Killing Lincoln” by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard for our meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.

Our annual “Cardinal Stepinac Days” are coming Feb. 11-12: That weekend we will have a grand concert Saturday evening, with much additional entertainment. On Sunday, Feb. 12, there will be a Solemn Mass and a banquet. Our guests include 2 groups from Canada and 2 from Chicago. Plan on joining us these days!

100th Anniversary Celebration Date! Please mark your calendars for next year with this important date: Sunday, April 29, 2012 will be St. Jerome Parish’s 100th Anniversary Mass and Gala Banquet! Holy Mass that Sunday will be celebrated by the Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Francis George. The Gala Banquet will be held in the Hilton Hotel and Towers on Michigan Avenue (10 minutes from our church). Please invite family and friends to reserve this day for our special festivities!

St. Jerome’s family prayer time: every evening between 6—7 P.M.

Come, Accompany Jesus   Our parish has the gift of Jesus being exposed for adoration for two hours every Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Come for vocal prayers at the beginning of the adoration and then accompany Jesus in silent adoration, which concludes with Benediction.
